​​​​​​​​​​I am a Fellow at CUTS Institute for Regulation & Competition (CIRC)​, New Delhi.
 
I specialise in regulatory governance and energy & climate policy in India. My current research looks at regulatory governance, with particular reference to infrastructure sectors. My other areas of research include the political economy of electricity service, clean energy governance, climate change policy, the cultural politics of climate change, and the interface between global climate regime and domestic policy instruments and politics in India. As an interdisciplinary social scientist, I am also interested in wider political and developmental issues.

I hold a PhD in Politics from the University of York, UK and MPhil & MA degrees in Political Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India.
